Hi
My name is Chris Cleevely and I live in Oxfordshire, UK - although I am a
Derby girl originally. I have been dancing around 12 years and choreographing
for more than 10, and to date I have had a number of dances published.
"LET'S DANCE " was published in Up Country in 2002, "EYE CANDY " in Linedancer Magazine Oct 2004 and "LITTLE DARLING " in Linedancer Magazine April 2005. "LET THE MUSIC PLAY " was published in Up Country April 2006.
Both Eye Candy and Little Darling have also appeared in BWDA magazine, as has "EVERYBODY DANCE ", and in June 2006 BWDA published an article on me as well as my dance "MADE FOR EACH OTHER ".
My most recently published dances are "NO GOOD REASON ", which appeared in Up Country Magazine April 2007, and "ODD MAN OUT " published in BWDA magazine June 2009.
A selection of my dances can now be viewed on YouTube:
I have recently written a dance to a track called "TABASCO SOLE” by The Voluntary Butler Scheme, and there is a video of this on YouTube, whilst the step sheet can be found on my Dances page here
My dance "SEA LEGS " can be seen on YouTube here
There are two videos on YouTube for the dance "HANDSOME MAN", which Glynn Holt and I wrote recently. Watch a walkthrough here and the dance itself to the music here
Two of my recent dances are to tracks by country singer L.J. Coon. "KNIGHT IN BLUE JEANS" is on YouTube here, and "RAINING IN PADUCAH" can be viewed here (it was also published in September 09 issue of BDWA Magazine).
BTW "I'm Your Knight In blue Jean Armor", the track for "Knight in Blue Jeans" is currently being played regularly on CMR Nashville radio, with a comment that I've written a line dance to the track!
Two of my recent dances are now on YouTube. "TEARDROPS & WHISPERS" can be seen here, and "CAN YOU FEEL ME" can be viewed here
And "DIG A DOG & BONE" can be seen here, and "DONNA-JEAN" can be viewed here
My latest dance "IT'S OVER" is written for the Alexandra Burke track of the same name, a sample of which is playing now.
Come and have a look at my YouTube channel and subscribe for videos of my dances.
My Linedance Class:
I run a linedance class for Improvers/Easy-Intermediates
each Tuesday in Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire.
Dances that I have taught at the class can be seen from the
Class Details link to the left.
I hope you will sign my guestbook and introduce yourself and if you teach any of my dances feedback would be much appreciated.
I would like to thank Ryan from Team Xtreme for designing this website for me and also a big thank you to Steve from Heroes & Villains for taking over from Ryan.
Good luck to the rest of the choreographers out there. Chris
